The National Association Of Small Trucking Companies
In 1989 David Owen and Buster Anderson decided to establish an active association for small trucking companies, nationwide that serves as an advocate for, a consultant to, and a source of collective buying power for its member companies. The National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC) has grown to represent over 2000 members in the United States and Canada and continues to grow each month. NASTC not only saves its member companies millions of dollars a year through participation in their innovative cost reduction programs, but also has become recognized as "the voice for small trucking companies" by the Washington establishment.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is focused on reducing crashes, injuries, and fatalities involving large trucks and buses.

CSA 2010
Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010, CSA 2010, is a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) initiative to improve large truck and bus safety and ultimately reduce commercial motor vehicle (CMV)-related crashes, injuries and fatalities. It introduces a new enforcement and compliance model that allows FMCSA and its State partners to contact a larger number of carriers earlier in order to address safety problems before crashes occur. When the program is fully rolled out by the end of 2010, FMCSA will have a new nationwide system for making the roads safer for motor carriers and the public alike!

SafeStat
SafeStat, short for Motor Carrier Safety Status Measurement System, is an automated data-driven system that calculates the safety fitness on motor carriers.

"Since joining NASTC in June of 1997, we've seen very significant savings for our over-the-road fuel purchases due to the utilization of the Quality Plus Network (QPN) discounted fuel stops. We highly recommend joining NASTC."
